Celery will not defeat me! After two failed attempts, I'm taking a shot at this once again, trying to grow a new celery plant from the base of an old stalk.
This time, my strategy is to plant it in a pot. Hopefully that will ward off the critters and make it easy to move inside if the weather gets too cold. I'll keep you posted.
